Get your skates on from 15th November when Calverley Grounds will be transformed into the ultimate winter destination. SKATE Tunbridge Wells returns for 2019 with stylish skating, festive food and drink, music and Christmas spirit. Booking is open now too.
Day or night, you can skate in the beautiful splendour of Calverley Grounds’ amphitheater, decorated for Christmas with twinkling festive lights, and don't miss the launch night on Friday 15th November with kmfm's Ben Pearce.
This year there will be a SECOND rink, The Tiny Tots Rink (sponsored by Childrensalon). It will be dedicated to two to four year olds and will be open from 10am with the last session at 5pm daily.
This year will also have Bavarian Curling on the smaller rink from 6pm. Bavarian Curling or Eisstockschießen is a very old German winter sport, somewhat similar to curling that anyone can play. Competitors need to grab an ice stock before taking to the ice to try their hand at battling with teams to get as close to the marked circular target. The team who get the closest wins! This is a fun team game for family/friends/colleagues to get you into the festive mood. Sessions last 55 minutes.
Calverley Grounds will be one of very few places in the UK with this fabulous attraction, and the only place in the South East to offer it!

No family visit to the ice rink would be complete without a visit to Father Christmas. Tickets on sale now. Booking in advance is strongly advised to avoid any disappointment for children expecting to see Father Christmas.
