Pay My Bills competition terms and conditions
Anyone who enters the Competition (an "Entrant") will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
The following rules are together with, and in addition to the kmfm competition terms and conditions which can be found here.
Competition Rules.
WHEN TO ENTER
You can enter to play kmfm Pay My Bills from 1st January through to Friday 28th January 2022 at 5pm.
The competition itself runs weekdays, starting from Monday 10th January during kmfm Daytimes (11am-4pm), through to kmfm Drivetime at 5:30pm.
From Monday 24th January the competition rounds increase to: 11:30am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm and 5:30pm (weekdays only).
If your phone rings between these hours be ready to answer because it could be kmfm calling you to play the competition!
HOW TO ENTER
Text BILLS plus your name and postcode to 60099 (eg, Bills Lucy Smith Maidstone). Texts charged at £2 plus standard network rate and you can enter online here.
Any texts that are not complete may not be counted but will still be charged.
You must be aged 16 or over to enter.
Once you have sent the first text you will receive an auto-response confirming the entry. You will then have the chance to enter again by texting the same: 'BILLS' plus your name and postcode to 60099. Texts are charged at an additional cost of £2.00 plus your standard network rate. You will receive 3 entries with the ‘3rd’ one being free.
You can enter this competition up to a maximum of 20 times, and the same online. After that texts maybe not get through to us and online entries will not be counted. but we strongly advise against excessive use
Both text and online entries are counted.
HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS
If you are randomly chosen to play a competition round, a pre-recorded call between yourself and the on air presenter will be made. You will be asked to choose 3 box numbers between 1 and 90. Behind each box is 1 word. You need to find the 3 words, "Pay" "My" 'Bills" in the correct order to win the prize.
The presenter will confirm your numbers with you and when you agree to them they will be "locked in" and those will be agreed as the numbers you have chosen. You can change your mind, but only up until the moment before the presenter presses the 3 box number sequence you have agreed.
Once you have been chosen at random once you can play the competition again.
CAN I ENTER TO PLAY THE COMPETITION AGAIN IF I HAVE ALREADY PLAYED A ROUND?
You can. As mentioned above, you can enter this competition up to a maximum of 20 times, but we strongly advise against excessive use. Any entries submitted over that amount may be still be charged but not counted.
THE PRIZE MONEY
The "Pays My Bills" prize money is £2,022. You must have a bank account to win this competition. The cash prize will be paid into your account. This can take up to 28 days.
CAN I ENTER FROM ANYWHERE IN THE UK
As kmfm is "Kent's Radio Station," this competition is for Kent residents only. That is those in the BR, CT, DA, ME, or TN postcode areas.
CAN SOMEONE PLAY ON MY BEHALF
Unfortunately not. If you are selected to play and can not commit to playing we will randomly select another contestant. However you will still be in the draw for another call back during another competition round.
MY TEXT ENTRY WON'T SEND OR I HAVEN'T RECEIVED A BOUNCEBACK MESSAGE
If your text message entry does not send or you may not receive an auto-response confirming your entry you should contact your mobile phone network as this is something out of our control. Possible reasons for texts not sending or not receiving a confirmation can be - lack of funds, a block on premium rate, a cap on text allowance or an issue with the mobile network. DID YOU CALL ME AND I MISSED YOUR CALL?
If you think you missed a call from us to play in the competition unfortunately it means you missed the chance to play that round, but you will still be in the draw to play the competition.
If you are unable to answer your phone, you miss the call or the call goes to answerphone for whatever reason, including any faults before/during the call and if it's not possible to re-establish the call, another entrant will be chosen at random.
DO I NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING ELSE?
All competition rounds are recorded and broadcast. If you win may be asked to provide a picture/selfie of yourself for use on our social media platforms. This could also extend to our sister news website, Kentonline and or even your local KM newspaper
