Howletts Wild Animal Park

Howletts, Kent’s original wildlife park, houses some of the world’s most endangered and rare animals. With over 390 animals, including Kent’s only giant anteaters, the largest herd of African elephants in the UK and more gorillas than any other zoo in the country.

Enjoy wild animal face painting, fun activities, expert animal talks and feeds, themed activity trails along with discovering a world lost in time in the Animals of The Ice Age. Let the children run wild in the play areas, bring a picnic to enjoy in one of their picnic areas or try out some of the on-site catering options, from family favourite dishes at the cafes to retro sweet treats from the new Sweet Hut, or a variety of delicious ice creams and desserts.
