Turner Contemporary is delighted to host GATHER: A Wedding and Events Showcase on 1st and 2nd March 2025 – a vibrant, inclusive event designed to inspire love, creativity and unforgettable celebrations. Alongside this dynamic showcase, we are proud to present the Coastal Venue Trail, a weekend-long opportunity to explore the unique wedding and event venues that dot the stunning Kent coastline. Both events highlight Kent as the perfect destination for weddings, milestone celebrations and corporate events.
What Is GATHER?
GATHER 2025 is not your traditional wedding fair. Set in the iconic Turner Contemporary in Margate, it is an immersive experience that encourages us to rethink how we celebrate. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with local talent, discover sustainable products and gain inspiration for personalising their weddings and events. The event features workshops, hands-on demonstrations and a curated selection of Kent’s finest suppliers. From scent-making to styling sessions, GATHER will spark new ideas for everything from intimate weddings to large-scale corporate events.

The Coastal Venue Trail: Discover the Kent Coastline’s Stunning Venues
In conjunction with GATHER, the Coastal Venue Trail invites visitors to explore a diverse range of wedding and event venues located along Kent’s picturesque coastline. This self-guided journey allows attendees to experience a variety of spaces – from coastal hotels and iconic venues to unique reception spots – and discover why Kent provides the ideal backdrop for memorable celebrations.
