More Information (kmfm is not responsible for external websites)
This is the third year the Hospice has offered a hassle-free way to recycling your real Christmas Tree. Just book the tree collection and recycling service on the website in return for a suggested donation of £10. All donations will go directly to the Hospice.
This year’s event has kindly been sponsored by Countrystyle Recycling from Sittingbourne in Kent.
The Hospice is asking everyone to spread the word about this recycling fundraising initiative by taking a picture of their decorated tree and tagging Heart of Kent Hospice through the Hospice’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
A fleet of vans together with volunteers will collect trees from residents within pre-designated postcodes between 6 January, 7 and 8 January 2023.
Registration opens on Saturday 19 November 2022 and closes at midnight on Monday 2 January 2023
The postcodes that Heart of Kent will be collecting from are:
ME14 3 - ME14 4 - ME14 5
ME15 6 - ME15 7 - ME15 8
ME16 0 - ME16 8
ME19 4 - ME19 5 – ME19 6
ME20 6 - ME20 7
By asking Heart of Kent Hospice to recycle your real Christmas tree and donating, you will be helping the Hospice to continue to provide outstanding care to people living with a terminal illness in the community.
The Hospice is also looking for volunteers with a few hours to spare or a van available to help with this fundraising initiative. If you can help, please email us on corporatefundraising@hokh.co.uk or call 01622 790195
